Aquinas the Biblical Theologian: A Biblical Theology Conference

February 7–9, 2019

About the Event

February 7–9, 2019

In the past 800 years, it's possible that no other theologian has shaped the Church's understanding of God, man, and herself more than St. Thomas Aquinas. While many people are familiar with his most famous work, the Summa Theologiae, fewer know of his important role as a biblical theologian. In fact, Aquinas' primary work was biblical theology. His biblical commentaries are invaluable in the ongoing work of Scripture study, which is why the St. Paul Center and the Aquinas Center for Theological Renewal are co-sponsoring a three-day conference to explore some of Aquinas' most important contributions to the field.

Featuring keynote speakers Scott Hahn and Matthew Levering, as well as over ten other renowned scholars, Aquinas the Biblical Theologian: A Conference on Biblical Theology will be held February 7–9, 2019, at Ave Maria University in Florida.

Go deeper into the theology of Aquinas, his impact on theologians such as Joseph Ratzinger, the importance of his biblical commentaries in forming preachers, and much more. Register now for this groundbreaking conference.
