Dr. Marcellino D’Ambrosio

Dr. Marcellino D’Ambrosio, Senior Fellow of The St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology, is a scholar specializing in the interpretation of Scripture and Tradition. He is also a popular speaker, retreat leader and pastoral minister with a special interest in teen evangelization and Hispanic ministry. D’Ambrosio earned his Doctoral degree in Historical Theology from The Catholic University of America. His dissertation, written under the direction of Cardinal Avery Dulles, S.J., focused on Cardinal Henri de Lubac, S.J., and his recovery of the biblical interpretation of the early Church Fathers. His popular book, Exploring the Catholic Church  has been used in hundreds of parishes all throughout the English speaking world. He also contributed to Abingdon’s Dictionary of Biblical Interpretation.

The founder of Crossroads Initiative, an apostolate of Catholic renewal and evangelizations, D’Ambrosio’s writings have been published in the international journal Communio, The Tablet, Catholic Digest, Our Sunday Visitor, and Catholic News Service’s syndicated column “Faith Alive.” Audio and video recordings of his popular teaching are internationally distributed. He often appears on the international Eternal Word Television Network is regularly heard on the nationally syndicated radio show “Catholic Answers Live.“D’Ambrosio and his wife Susan, along with their five children, live outside of Dallas, Texas.
