About the Author
Laurie Watson Manhardt, Ph.D. earned a doctorate in education from the University of Michigan. She and her husband Jim host a Come and See group in their home in Vero Beach, Florida. Laurie also co-leads a family Bible study for adults and teens in her parish.
About the Illustrators
Aileen J. Co was born in the Philippines and now resides in the United States. She drew the illustrations in this book while a senior at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart high school in Coraopolis, PA. Co plans to pursue a career as an illustrator.
Melissa Dayton, a wife and mother of six children, painted the Madonna and David the shepherd on the cover as well as the kneeling child, Mary on page 43, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Her art can be found on www.pearlsofgrace.com.
