Virtues: Your Christian Legacy
The theological virtues of faith, hope, and love, like the cardinal virtues of prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance, are empowering gifts from God. Scripture offers many passages devoted to obtaining them. Now, author Susan Muto has penned a veritable treasury of Christian virtues in Virtues: Your Christian Legacy.
There are countless virtues one must work to acquire throughout the process of spiritual maturation. Muto sets forth a path that makes virtue attainable—with the help of God’ s grace.
Virtues: Your Christian Legacy offers commentary on seven different virtues for each of the following:
- The Inner Life
- The Relational Life
- The Situational Life
- And the Global Life
Suffused with the wisdom of saints and spiritual masters, Virtues: Your Christian Legacy is an uplifting book that will prove helpful to Christians wherever they may be on the path to holiness.

With this book she helps us, very practically, to live up to Pope Francis’ call to a life of discipleship and witness—a life that’ s intentional, meaningful, and virtuous.”
—Mike Aquilina, Bestselling Author
“‘Page-turning’ is a term usually restricted to good novels and seldom used in reference to nonfiction. It is, however, most applicable to this newest book by Susan Muto. Her writing style is so inviting and her text so well crafted that it is a pleasure to read . . . thought provoking, insightful, and clear. Muto draws from Scripture, the Spiritual Fathers of East and West, and from the best of contemporary authors to present a ‘ blueprint for virtuous living.’”
