About us:

The St. Paul Center is a nonprofit research and educational institute that brings people into a deeper knowledge and love of Christ through Scripture and Doctrine. Our goal is to raise up a generation of priests who are biblically fluent and laity that are biblically literate.

Background:

The St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology has been faithfully following the lead of Dr. Scott Hahn for 25 years, bringing the transformative power of Sacred Scripture to clergy, scholars, and laypeople alike through a variety of programs and initiatives, including events (priest conferences, parish missions, and conferences), popular books (via Emmaus Road Publishing), scholarly works (via Emmaus Academic Press) and digital content (through the Journey Through Scripture Bible studies & the Emmaus Academy online learning platform).

We are seeking a Product Manger to lead the product roadmap and growth of our Emmaus Academy online learning platform. The Emmaus Academy is one of the top strategic priorities for the growth of the center and of our mission in reaching out to laity and clergy alike with the Biblical and doctrinal truths of the faith.  The Online Learning Product Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Content.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage technical projects on a fast-growing learning platform – work with the VP of Marketing & Production, Director of Technology and the Executive team to understand new features on the digital learning platform and develop detailed implementation plans to hit them.  This includes launching our first native mobile app.
  • Read user data and make clear choices – lead membership team to track user data, set hypotheses and successs criteria, execute A/B tests and identify winning choices to improve user experience.
  • Set a road map and track to it – work with technology team to prioritize new feature via a quarterly product roadmap for Emmaus Academy to grow member engagement and retention.
  • Lead membership growth plans – Partner with marketing and production teams to develop annual user acquisition plans.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in Product Management, ideally D2C experience in an agile environment.
  • Passion for learning about and sharing the Catholic faith, especially Scripture.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit – this platform is fast growing and agile; we need someone equal parts tenacious to overcome challenges and visionary to get us where we’re going.

What We Offer:

  • Faithful commitment to Catholic teaching - We exist not to take a side or sow division, but to share the powerful truths of the faith with the world.
  • An apostolic ethos to impact the world – we seek in everything we do to make an impact; to reach the full depth and breadth of the Body of Christ.  You’ll report to the VP of Marketing & Production, A.J., and be the leader on the organization’s #1 strategic priority for growth.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit – the St. Paul Center has grown 10-fold in the past decade, and we are constantly seeking new ideas, experiments and solutions to advance our mission.  You’ll be part of that growth with an opportunity to have tremendous impact and advance your career.
  • Competitive Compensation & Benefits – A salary and benefits package that supports you and your family.
  • Flexibility – We are based in Steubenville, OH (45min from Pittsburgh) but are open to other locations, so long as the work gets done.
