About the Author
Laurie Manhardt holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Detroit and a PhD in Education from the University of Michigan. About the Illustrator
Aileen J. Co was born in the Philippines and now resides in the United States. She drew the illustrations in this book while a senior at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart high school in Coraopolis, PA. Co plans to pursue a career as an illustrator.
