One of the main objections to the existence of God is the presence of evil in the world. Fr. Andrew Younan addresses this objection by considering it objectively, a decidedly difficult thing to do.

Personal suffering is nothing to be dismissed with trite expressions. Yet the problem of evil is not expressed as an emotional objection, but one of reason. And it is an objection that can be answered with reason, for God is a rational God as well as a loving God.

Hear Fr. Younan’s thoughtful answers to the difficult question of why there is evil in the world in this audio excerpt from Thoughtful Theism: Redeeming Reason in an Irrational Age.
