Speakers
Scott Hahn
Dr. Scott Hahn is the founder and president of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology and has written numerous books on biblical theology. He holds the Father Michael Scanlan, T.O.R., Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990. He and his wife, Kimberly, have six children and seventeen grandchildren.
John Bergsma
Dr. John Bergsma is Professor of Theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. A former Protestant pastor, Dr. Bergsma entered the Catholic Church in 2001 while getting his Ph.D. in Scripture from the University of Notre Dame. A close collaborator of Dr. Scott Hahn, Bergsma speaks regularly on Catholic radio and at conferences and parishes nationally and internationally. In addition to numerous scholarly articles, Dr. Bergsma has authored eight books on Scripture and the Catholic faith.
Ralph Martin
Ralph Martin is the president of Renewal Ministries and Director of Graduate Theology Programs in Evangelization and a professor of theology at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in the Archdiocese of Detroit. He holds a doctorate in theology from the Angelicum University in Rome. Pope Benedict XVI appointed Martin as a Consultor to the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization. He was also appointed as a peritus for the Synod on the New Evangelization which was held in Rome in 2012. Martin is the author of the bestselling The Fulfillment of All Desire and A Church in Crisis. He and his wife Anne reside in Ann Arbor, Michigan and are the parents of six and grandparents of nineteen.
Mike Aquilina
Mike Aquilina, Executive Vice President and Trustee of The St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology, is a widely recognized Catholic author and lecturer. He is the best-selling author or editor of over fifty books, including The Fathers of the Church, A Year with the Church Fathers, and Villains of the Early Church. Mike has co-hosted eleven thirteen-week series that air on the Eternal Word Television Network. He is solo host of two feature-length documentaries. He appears weekly on radio’s “Sonrise Morning Show” and is a frequent guest on other TV and radio shows. For many years he was a panelist on “The Weekly Roman Observer,” a news-commentary program on Catholic Familyland Network.
Lawrence Feingold
Dr. Lawrence Feingold is Associate Professor of Theology and Philosophy at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis. In 1999 he earned a doctorate in theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. He is the author of Faith Comes From What is Heard: An Introduction to Fundamental Theology, The Eucharist: Mystery of Presence, Sacrifice, and Communion, and Touched by Christ: The Sacramental Economy.
Fr. Cliff Ermatinger
Fr. Cliff Ermatinger is a native of Chicago and is currently pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. He was ordained in Rome in 1997. He has lived and worked in Germany, Hungary, Mexico, Spain, Italy and Ireland where he has preached missions, taught the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises, and worked as spiritual director. He is active in the ministry of Exorcism while training other priests to become exorcists. He is the author of numerous homiletics and articles, as well as six books.
Msgr. Michael Heintz (Chaplain)
Monsignor Michael Heintz, a priest of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Indiana, completed his seminary studies at St John’s Seminary, Brighton and was ordained in 1993. In 2008 he completed his PhD in Patristics. He taught at the University of Notre Dame for over a decade and was director of the Master of Divinity Program there before taking up a new role at Mount St Mary’s Seminary, Emmitsburg, where he teaches Patristics, Liturgy, and Christology, and serves as Academic Dean.
