Our Speakers
Scott & Kimberly Hahn
Dr. Scott and Kimberly Hahn have been married for 44 years and have six children and twenty – one grandchildren. One of their sons is now a priest for the Diocese of Steubenville, Fr. Jeremiah Hahn. An exceptionally popular speaker and teacher, Dr. Hahn has delivered numerous talks nationally and internationally on a wide variety of topics related to Scripture and the Catholic faith. His talks have been effective in helping thousands of Protestants and fallen away Catholics to (re)embrace the Catholic faith. Dr. Hahn was received into the Church in 1986; Kimberly was received in 1990. They co-authored their story in Rome Sweet Home: Our Journey to Catholicism, which has been translated into more than 20 languages.
Jeff & Emily Cavins
Jeff and Emily Cavins have been married for 46 years and have three daughters. Their oldest, Carly, is married with three children. As grandparents, Jeff and Emily are blessed to live near their grandchildren and are able to not only enjoy them but also actively contribute to their relationship with the Lord. Jeff and Emily have discovered fresh ways to walk with their grandchildren and, at the same time, continue to grow in their relationship with their adult daughters.
Jeff’s notable contribution to the field of biblical studies is the Great Adventure Bible Studies. This comprehensive program has revolutionized the way people understand the chronological narrative of Scripture. Currently, Jeff is collaborating with Jonathan Roumie on a daily Gospel reflection, available on the Hallow App. Emily is completing her doctorate in archaeology, a field in which she has conducted extensive research in Israel and Jordan. Together, Jeff and Emily lead pilgrimages to the Holy Land and other countries, sharing their knowledge and experiences with fellow enthusiasts.
Dan & Linda Spencer
Dan Spencer and his wife, Linda, have shared 49 years of marriage, raising four children and cherishing the presence of 16 grandchildren. Dan spearheads the Legacy of Faith Catholic apostolate, where he serves as Founder and President. This organization is committed to empowering grandparents to nurture their grandchildren's fidelity to Christ and His Church through intentional Catholic grandparenting. A revered author, Catholic writer, and nationally acclaimed speaker, Dan lends his voice to various national Catholic media platforms. His discussions span an array of topics, including faith in the workplace, combating pornography, and addressing family dynamics. Linda Spencer, co-founder of Legacy of Faith, brings her unique journey to the apostolate. Formerly a Baptist fundamentalist, Linda's conversion to Catholicism in 1981 was driven by a quest to comprehend Christ's teaching on the Eucharist. Today, alongside Dan, she continues to champion the apostolate's mission, fostering faith and familial bonds within the Catholic community.
