Join the St. Paul Center in Pittsburgh on the morning of October 27 for a mini-conference on “Hope for Hard Times.” This dynamic event brings together three prominent lay leaders in the Church today: Dr. Scott Hahn, Dr. Tim Gray, and Curtis Martin.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear three world-renowned speakers at the beautiful Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square. The morning will begin with a light complimentary continental breakfast, followed by three talks on how we can find hope in times of difficulty.

This morning event directly follows the St. Paul Center’s Fifth Annual Gala Dinner and is free for all those registered for the Gala. Scott and Kimberly Hahn extend a warm invitation to you on behalf of the St. Paul Center. Please join our staff, trustees, and close friends for an evening of celebration on October 26, 2018 in Pittsburgh.

The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. and a keynote address by our founder and president Dr. Scott Hahn. At this year's Gala, Dr. Hahn will bestow on Dr. Timothy Gray, founder of the Augustine Institute, the Letter & Spirit Award in honor of his dedication to promoting the study of the Catholic faith.

Speakers

Dr. Scott Hahn

Dr. Scott Hahn is the founder and president of the St. Paul Center and has written numerous books on biblical theology. He holds the Father Michael Scanlan, T.O.R., Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990. He and his wife, Kimberly, have six children and fifteen grandchildren.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Dr. Tim Gray

Dr. Tim Gray is president and associate professor of Sacred Scripture at the Augustine Institute, a Fellow at the St. Paul Center, and a professor of Scripture at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary. He is the author of five best-selling books and commentaries, has four series on EWTN, and is a nationally recognized speaker. Dr. Gray holds a PhD in Biblical Studies from The Catholic University of America.
 
 
 
 
 
 

Curtis Martin

Curtis Martin is the founder and CEO of FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students. He holds a masters degree in theology and is the author of over five books for Catholics. In 2004, Martin and his wife, Michaelann, were awarded the Benemerenti Medal by Pope Saint John Paul II for their outstanding service to the Church. In 2011, Pope Benedict XVI appointed Martin as a Consultor to the Pontifical Council of the New Evangelization. He and his wife live in Westminster, Colorado and have nine children.
