Dr. Steven C. Smith

Steven Smith is Professor and Chair of Biblical Exegesis at Mundelein Seminary. He earned his Ph.D. in New Testament and Early Christianity from Loyola University of Chicago (2008). His “Lord” trilogy—The Word of the Lord, The House of the Lord, and The Face of the Lord  (2012-20)—is highly regarded and has been read by many. Currently, Steven is finishing a new project called Gardens of Meaning: Myth, Poetry, and Symbol in the Bible. It will be published by Word on Fire Academic (2023).
