The Old and New Testaments provide more than enough practical information on the office of priesthood. But just as abundant is the spiritual wealth that Scripture contains for the heart of every pastor. Join the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology as Drs. Scott Hahn, John Bergsma, Brant Pitre, and Fr. Pablo Gadenz address the centrality of the Word of God in the life and ministry of the Priest.
The conference, for Catholic Priests, will take place on July 10-13, 2017 at the 4 star Oglebay Resort and Conference Center in Wheeling, WV. Registration is $550 and includes lodging (Mon-Wed Nights), meals, and conference events.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in spiritual renewal during: Daily Mass, Holy Hours, Daily Confession, and private prayer.
Conferences sessions and workshops will be presented by renowned scholars and St. Paul Center Fellows. Fellowship will include community meals and evening receptions. Oglebay resort has beautiful grounds which include 3 championship golf courses, walking paths, and a spa.

Event Speaker Bio’s
Dr. Scott Hahn is the author (or editor) of over forty books, including best-selling titles like Rome Sweet Home, The Lamb’s Supper, and Hail Holy Queen. His most recent titles include: The Creed, Joy to the World, Angels and Saints, and Evangelizing Catholics. His academic publications include: Kinship by Covenant and Politicizing the Bible. He is the editor of the academic journal, Letter & Spirit: A Journal of Catholic Biblical Theology.

Dr. Brant Pitre earned his Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Notre Dame, where he specialized in the study of Christianity and Judaism in Antiquity. He holds an M.T.S. in biblical studies from Vanderbilt University and a B.A. in Philosophy and English Literature from L.S.U.
Dr. Pitre is the author of several articles and a book, Jesus, the Tribulation, and the End of the Exile (Tuebingen: Mohr Siebeck; Grand Rapids: Baker Academic, 2005). He is currently working on an academic book on Jesus and the Last Supper (Eerdmans, 2015), as well as a popular book on The Case for Jesus: The Biblical and Historical Evidence for Christ (Image, 2016). ..read more
Dr. John Bergsma is Associate Professor of Theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, in Steubenville, Ohio. He holds the M.Div. and Th.M. degrees from Calvin Seminary, Grand Rapids, Michigan, and served as a Protestant pastor for four years before entering the Catholic Church in 2001 while pursuing a Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. He specialized in the Old Testament and the Dead Sea Scrolls, graduating with high honors in 2004. His major study of the interpretation of the Year of Jubilee in ancient times is published as The Jubilee from Leviticus to Qumran (Brill Academic, 2007).

Rev. Pablo T. Gadenz, a priest of the Diocese of Trenton, NJ, is Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology at Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey. He is also on the Formation Faculty of the Seminary. He received his licentiate in Scripture (S.S.L.) from the Pontifical Biblical Institute (2005) and his doctorate in biblical theology (S.T.D.) from the Pontifical Gregorian University (2008). He is currently writing a commentary on the Gospel of Luke for the Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture series (Baker Academic). His published dissertation is titled Called from the Jews and from the Gentiles. Pauline Ecclesiology in Romans 9-11 (Tübingen: Mohr-Siebeck, 2009).
