The Scripture scholarship of Fr. Joseph Ponessa and the teaching expertise of Laurie Manhardt have again produced an exceptional Catholic Bible study, The Gospel of John. The authors employ both inductive and deductive teaching methods to provide the reader with a thorough understanding of the Gospel. They take nothing for granted as they open this gospel and the teaching of the Church in a manner both didactic and inspirational.
Some of the outstanding features of this study include:
- Numerous references to the Catechism of the Catholic Church
- Beautiful illustrations and design
- Engaging questions and helpful hints for study
- Rich teachings from the saints and Church Fathers
- Scriptural teaching applied to life situations
- Treasured Catholic prayers and devotions
