Dr. Leroy Huizenga is Administrative Chair for Human and Divine Sciences. He received his M.Div from Princeton Seminary in 2001 and his Ph.D. from Duke University in 2006 after spending a year writing and teaching on a Fulbright Grant at Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt, Germany.
He is the author of:
Loosing the Lion: Proclaiming the Gospel of Mark (Emmaus Road Publishing, 2017) and
The New Isaac: Tradition and Intertextuality in the Gospel of Matthew (Brill, 2012).

He is the translator of Stefan Alkier’s The Reality of the Resurrection: The New Testament Witness (Baylor University Press, 2013).
After teaching at Wheaton College for five years, Dr. Huizenga was reconciled with the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil of 2011. Dr Huizenga and his wife Kari reside in Bismarck, North Dakota with their two young children, Hans Arnold and Miriam Anne.
