Father Joseph Poggemeyer is a priest of the diocese of Toledo, Ohio, ordained in 1997.  He received a licentiate and doctorate in biblical theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.  He is currently pastor of two parishes in downtown Toledo - Saint Joseph and Saints Adalbert and Hedwig.

He is the translator (from German) of Reinhard Feldmeier, 1 Peter (Baylor, 2008).
