Speakers

Scott Hahn

Dr. Scott Hahn is the founder and president of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology and has written numerous books on biblical theology. He holds the Father Michael Scanlan, T.O.R., Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990. He and his wife, Kimberly, have six children and seventeen grandchildren.

John Bergsma

Dr. John Bergsma is Professor of Theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. A former Protestant pastor, Dr. Bergsma entered the Catholic Church in 2001 while getting his Ph.D. in Scripture from the University of Notre Dame. A close collaborator of Dr. Scott Hahn, Bergsma speaks regularly on Catholic radio and at conferences and parishes nationally and internationally. In addition to numerous scholarly articles, Dr. Bergsma has authored eight books on Scripture and the Catholic faith, including Jesus and the Dead Sea Scrolls (Penguin/Random House), Bible Basics for Catholics (Ave Maria Press), and A Catholic Introduction to the Bible: Old Testament (with Brant Pitre; Ignatius Press). Dr. Bergsma’s talks and studies are available on CD and mp3 from CatholicProductions.com. He and his wife Dawn reside with their eight children in Steubenville, Ohio.

Lawrence Feingold

Dr. Lawrence Feingold is Associate Professor of Theology and Philosophy at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis. In 1999 he earned a doctorate in theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. He is the author of Faith Comes from What is Heard: An Introduction to Fundamental Theology and The Eucharist: Mystery of Presence, Sacrifice, and Communion.

Fr. Boniface Hicks, OSB (Homilist)

Fr. Boniface Hicks, OSB, is a Benedictine monk of St. Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He has provided spiritual direction for many men and women, including married couples, seminarians, consecrated religious, and priests. He is the co-author, with Fr. Thomas Acklin, OSB, of Spiritual Direction: A Guide for Sharing the Father’s Love.

About Oglebay Resort and Conference Center

Situated on a hilltop in the heart of Oglebay Park is the Wilson Lodge, which is a 4-star full-service conference center. Facilities at the lodge include the West Spa, business center, wireless Internet, an indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and game room.
