Sr. Faustina Maria Pia, S.V. was raised in Somers, Connecticut and studied Human Services and Nursing, desiring to serve those who are suffering. After experiencing a call from Jesus, she entered the Sisters of Life in 2009 and professed her final vows in 2018. The Sisters of Life are a community of religious women who vow to protect the sacred dignity of every human life; their missions include serving women in crisis pregnancies and women who have suffered the wound of abortion. Sr. Faustina currently resides in New York and serves as the local superior of the Sacred Heart Convent.

<p>In this new book, Sr. Faustina Maria of the Sisters of Life expands on each of the lines in the Litany of Trust, a prayer she wrote and has since become widely popular, creating a rich and reflective 30 day retreat. Perfect for personal prayer, or even for a group to read together, it really has been a gift to my prayer life over the past couple of weeks. Trust is something we are never finished growing in on this side of Heaven, and I think that anyone could benefit from these reflections!</p>

I'm about halfway through, and it has been very convicting, encouraging and enlightening in a way few other retreats and spiritual books have been for me.
