<p>We first heard about this series „Genesis to Jesus“on the EWTN Coming Home Program and made an effort to find and watch the lessons.<br />
Always loved Scott Hahn. This series is outstanding and clearly shows God‘s loving providence throughout Salvation History.<br />

<p>We are currently studying the Ascension Press course 'Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible' (Jeff Cavins and Sarah Christmyer) in our Pastoral Area in Christchurch, England. The Bible Timeline accompanying the course is very helpful, and like Genesis to Jesus it gives a good overview of Salvation History. However, the videos are very fast paced, and it is difficult to absorb the detail easily.</p>
<p>Genesis to Jesus is a brilliant supplement to this, and Matthew Leonard's masterful and scholarly narration fills in many of the gaps and draws out the amazing parallels between OT and NT events and Jesus' fulfillment of God's covenants. Like the previous St Paul Centre productions, this is beautifully filmed, and full of stunning religious paintings illustrating the biblical story.</p>
<p>While in the UK, we can only purchase the a pdf copy of the accompanying workbook, it is very helpful, and contains a good summary text of the video narrative for each lesson, as well as review and discussion questions.</p>
<p>All in all, a thoroughly recommended course, which has enriched my understanding of Scripture enormously.</p>

<p>This truly is a special course and a special journey. I must admit I've never understood and felt God's love as intensely as whilst watching these videos this Lenten period, which often resulted in the gift of tears and the burning heart. What a love story! Praise be to God, for He truly is our Father and we are His people, His family! Thank you wholeheartedly, Dr Hahn and the whole St Paul's Centre for Biblical Theology Team, my prayers are with you all, long may you continue with such a blessed apostolate God love you.</p>

<p>I grew up in a Protestant church. Yet despite the Protestant views of Sola Scriptura and focus only on the word of God, I understand the Bible more as a Catholic than I ever did in Protestantism. Much of that knowledge and understanding comes from this Bible study and other resources by Dr. Scott Hahn. I cannot recommend it highly enough. An essential study for the faith.</p>

<p>This is a wonderful study with a lot of depth. I agree with Chris Burgess in that we are also using the "Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible" course from Ascension Press and in fact are going through it a second time as our group felt that there was so much there that it was overwhelming. Genesis to Jesus not only pulled all the threads of the covenant together but also taught me a lot. The study also made me think and touched my heart. I thank you for what you have done as this is sorely needed. I would definitely recommend this for individuals and groups especially because it puts us in touch with what God has done for us and how much He loves us and pursues us.</p>

<p>I acquired so much knowledge from this study. I feel like I understand so much more of the Bible. It was the greatest course I have ever took. I recommend it highly. I am ordering the DVD's to always have. I used the work book with it &amp; the chapter summaries were excellent. Just wish it wasn't so expensive.</p>

The best I have seen to date. The price seems a little high until you realize that the only way to get a better understanding of the Bible and salvation history would be to pay for a master's degree in Biblical theology. I can't believe how much content and detail is packed into this series!<br />
If all catholics would watch this, it would renew the faith of The Church and bring Holy Mother Church to a glory unseen in recent history!! By recent of course I'm talking centuries.<br />
