About the course
In today’s society, work has become synonymous with our professional occupation, with how we earn money. Of course the concept of work includes this, but it is far more expansive. The reality is that all of us have some sort of work that we do...whether we're a student, homemaker, laborer, retired, religious or even seeking gainful employment. But where is God in all of this apparently mundane human activity? How does our ordinary work relate to our lives of prayer, our relationship with God, and our heavenly destination? In short, what does work have to do with our Catholic faith? Join Dr. Jeffrey Morrow as he explores these very questions in Theology of Work.
About the presenter
Dr. Jeffrey L. Morrow is Professor of Catholic Theology at Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology. He resides with his wife and their seven children in northern New Jersey. Dr. Morrow is the author or co-author of nine books including Murmuring Against Moses: The Contentious History and Contested Future of Pentateuchal Studies (with John Bergsma, 2022); and Modern Biblical Criticism as a Tool of Statecraft (with Scott Hahn, 2020)
